Our Story
From a simple idea to a community organization
B.C.E.R.O. began in 2021 when two concerned citizens set out to provide school supplies to students at Bethune-Bowman High School and throughout the Bowman community. That effort grew into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formally established in 2026.

Connecting people, resources, and opportunities
B.C.E.R.O.'s overall organizational goal is to connect people, resources, and opportunities to strengthen individuals and families, empower youth and seniors, promote community unity, and contribute to the long-term growth, stability, and prosperity of the Bowman community.
Support Youth and Education
Provide students with school supplies, scholarships, educational programs, mentoring, educational trips, career exposure, and other resources that encourage academic achievement and personal development.
Support Seniors and Vulnerable Residents
Develop outreach programs that assist senior citizens and individuals experiencing hardship by connecting them with resources, services, transportation assistance, food assistance, and other everyday needs.
Strengthen Families
Provide resources, referrals, educational opportunities, and community programs that promote stronger and more stable families.
